There. I've always wanted to do that. Now, how the devil did you find me so fast? Especially under the different username! (As for List of Minor Expletives... I've got it on my watchlist, and my Hammer of Smiting is at the ready.)

Different from what? It's just your handle with a couple of initials at the start, not unlike "CZeke." (The C is for Commodore, my rank back when I thought ranks were cool.) Anyway, I found you the way I find most 5M.net links: through the hitcounter. We get a ton of Wikipedia referrals now that DoctorWho42 has added fiver links to many episode pages, but I didn't recognize "List of fictional expletives," so I dropped by half-expecting an entry for "dsokdpach." This was just as good.
And seriously, don't fight too hard for any 5M.net references on Wikipedia, because they have literally zero chance of surviving if challenged. We're not notable here. That doesn't bother me a bit -- there are much, much more important things in life than whether online snobs think I matter. You guys are trying anyway, and that's awesome, I'm just saying don't be disappointed if it doesn't last. ~ CZeke 20:55, 27 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
Oh, that makes sense. I suppose people must actually be reading that list now that CNET linked to it. I won't push too hard, but I think Fivers have a certain amount of ubiquity, at least in the Trek community, and deserve occasional mention. Anyhow, good to see you, and don't let Wikiholism get in the way of 5ME. --BCSWowbagger 22:01, 27 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

GA status of USA PATRIOT Act

edit

It would only be a violation of WP:POINT if I had actually nominated USA PATRIOT Act for GA status, which I didn't. I think you're pinging the wrong man here. - Ta bu shi da yu 05:50, 20 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Bugger. Typo on my behalf... that was meant to be one for USA PATRIOT Act, Title II. My bad. - Ta bu shi da yu 03:57, 23 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Boys be ambitious quote

edit

Hi, can you find a news source that explains the Boys be ambitious quote for the Boys Be... article?? An interview with the author would be ideal but a manga/anime review would work as well. -AngusWOOF (talk) 15:23, 17 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

Well, for starters, it's on page 1. ~ CZeke (talk) 03:31, 18 August 2013 (UTC)Reply
Okay, thanks, let me see if I can work that in. I found another article that links the doctor's name; just need to work out the WP:SYNTH part. -AngusWOOF (talk) 16:25, 18 August 2013 (UTC)Reply
Cool, thanks for handling those details. I wasn't looking forward to making a case myself -- I'm still reeling from the time I edited an article about a poem and was informed that the text of the poem was not considered an acceptable source. ~ CZeke (talk) 22:53, 18 August 2013 (UTC)Reply
