Hi, I'm Phil, contributor of articles on Randall cattle, South Kent, Connecticut, and Tamworth Pigs.

Beef Shorthorn edit

But since beef shorthorns presumably exist, there should be an article on them! You seem to be fairly knowlegable about cattle; would you like to write it? I'd try, but I'm afraid creating Channel Island cattle took me past the limit of my cattle-related acticle-writing abilities. If nothing else, I think the beef shorthorn red link should stay, to encourage creation of the article. - squibix 14:26, 30 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Hello Squibix, I have reverted the page back. It had not occurred to me that a link to a non existent page would encourage someone to write one, that makes sense. I will try to write a Beef Shorthorn page even though I really don't know anything about them. I do, however, have an idea of where to get good information. Thank you for wiki-fying my page, when I first saw the mods, I thought some automatic wiki function was at work! It took a while, but I found the History page and figured it out.Phil 20:30, 30 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Re: Sunderland edit

The problem isn't residence but notability. People who aren't notable shouldn't be listed in these sections, and without an article we can't really tell if the person is notable. If you write an article that demonstrates their notability, and then you restore these people to Sunderland, I'll not at all oppose. Nyttend (talk) 18:28, 28 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
