Nailsea Court edit

Thanks for your edit to Nailsea Court. I checked the Images of England database and it definitely says that there is an "over-mantel from Upper Langford Court". If you think that this is incorrect, then please cite a source so that we can verify the error. Oh, and welcome to Wikipedia: the information that I posted above should give you a fairly good introduction to the ethos of the project. NotFromUtrecht (talk) 13:54, 16 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Is the Langford Court being referenced in the Nailsea Court article the one in Fivehead or the one in Upper Langford near Churchill, Somerset - either way we could probably do the article you started at Over Langford Manor to comply with wikipedia rules.— Rod talk 18:53, 16 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Over Langford Manor edit

Well done for starting the article on Over Langford Manor. I've tried to help by adding some references otherwise it was likely to be deleted again as not meeting wikipedia's Verifiability requirements. There are still several claims within the article which need supporting references to back them up. If you have the sources I can help with formatting them if you need it or take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources. Can I also add my welcome to wikipedia.— Rod talk 21:42, 16 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

You are doing well for a first day on wikipedia - the various guidelines & the markup can be a steep learning curve. Don't send me the references, just take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources & give what details you can between <ref> text eg author title, year for books or URL for websites</ref> tags & I can tidy them for you tomorrow. For pictures take a look at Wikipedia:Uploading images.— Rod talk 22:36, 16 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Over Langford Manor (again) edit

Hi again, (Some of my colleagues have been in Nigeria recently looking to deliver some of our courses there!) Well done for coming back to the Over Langford Manor. Would you like me to format some of the references? As far as photos go its best upload to commons so they can be used on any projects - do you own the copyright eg did you take them yourself? are you willing to share them so that anyone else can use them for whatever they want? if so go to this form & click on "entirely my own work" fill in as much as you can of the form. Once you save it will have a file name in the Over Langford Manor out the cursor where you want it to appear & then add [[File:image name.jpg|thumb|caption]]. Hope this helps.— Rod talk 20:35, 2 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
