Currently, the article gives some statistics which present an overview of women in the Texas government. The article is not yet finished, but the information already here is important, informative, well-organized, and well-cited. The article is clear and well-written. The article’s strongest section is its lead, as this is the most fully developed segment. The article will be improved as the information becomes more fleshed out. I wonder if the “History of Women’s Political Involvement in Texas” might function with small paragraphs rather than a timeline. Also, I am curious to learn more about Governors Miriam Ferguson and Ann Richards. It could be interesting to incorporate some of our class discussions on descriptive & substantive representation when looking at their agendas. Also, due to current events with the Texas abortion ban, I wonder if there is current information on how women in government are voting, and what their role is in Texas abortion legislation. Currently the article is underdeveloped but a good foundation exists!Juliaschilz (talk) 19:14, 8 December 2021 (UTC)
