Scouting in Scotland

edit

Welcome from me also. I see you know about the changes in Scotland. The articles on the old areas need to be replaced by articles on the regions. I have had one in my sandbox for a while and I will try to install it today. At the same time, I would like to remove the lists of Groups and units that are on many of the Area articles (and County articles in England). These lists are quite inappropriate on wikipedia. They are mostly unsourced. IP editors remove them and add them without reason, so we do not know whether the changes are correct, but original research of course, or whether they are vandalism. I am however planing to move the articles with the list of Groups to the Scoutwiki, where articles on Groups are allowed, so the lists could point to Group articles in future. I discussed this at Talk:The Scout Association#Scotland. Can you help? Also do you know about Wikipedia:WikiProject Scouting? I look forward to seeing your edits to Scouting articles. --Bduke (talk) 23:24, 3 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

The first one is at South West Scotland Region (The Scout Association). See the discussion at Talk:The Scout Association#New Scotland Regions. --Bduke (talk) 04:38, 4 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
