Re:Questions

I don't think my editor review is closed... it might have been taken off the main page but I don't plan to close it for quite some time. I'm very pleased with the feedback I've been getting.

First of all, let me thank you for taking the time to review me! :)

Next, I'll address your concern. Yanksox and I have been dating for over two years now and over that period of time, we've developed a very good friendship beneath a very strong romantic relationship. I imagine that in the very unlikely case that we do part ways, the friendship would hold firm. In any case, I certainly would not hold a grudge against him (and even if I did, I wouldn't vent it here). I would never let the quality of Wikipedia suffer from the termination of any of my various relationships (with family, friends, and of course, Yanksox himself). I might take a break for my personal benefit, but I would not resort to squabbling at Wikipedia: it would accomplish nothing (everything would be reverted), and this is a public venue rather than the private one I require for discussing private, personal matters. I try to keep my "real" life and my "Wiki" life as separate as possible, although certainly I always go to my Yanker of Oxen (ask Crzrussian) for advise or help in handling vandalism first. I hope this answers your question! Srose (talk) 02:01, 24 August 2006 (UTC)

Answer from a friend ;)

Hi Chili. Thanks for the support you've given, and the nice pic. I'm feeling ok now, just a bit busy in real life :(

I asked Snopake, and her reply was, "Hmmmm...quite soon", so let's hope that's true! The wikibreak has done her good, so we should be seeing a fully recovered, ready to go Snopake upon her return.

Thank you once agian my friend. And let me assume you, I am smiling :) Thε Halo Θ 11:39, 24 August 2006 (UTC)

Helpme

What is the criteria for uploading images from MySpace pages? Thank you.

Sorry, I don't know. But Jimbo knows: see Wikipedia:Uploading images for some insight. You'll probably find your info there, but if you don't, contact the administrators (WP:ADMIN). That's the best I can do. Have a good one. Editor19841 (talk) 23:53, 25 August 2006 (UTC)

Re: Comments and questions

Hey there Chili, thanks for your nice words! They brought a smile to my face (or, increased the smile that I already had). I'm always glad when I can brighten someone's day. As for the new design of the Esperanza page, it's shaping up very nicely; we're going to continue discussion for a little while longer to firm up everything that we want on it, and then we'll be moving it over there! I'm glad you like it so much, Aeon (and everyone) has done a really good job on it. -- Natalya 03:45, 27 August 2006 (UTC)

RE: Css

Well, if you use the (default) monobook skin, just dump all the code you like at User:Chili14/monobook.css. I haven't updated that page (User:GeorgeMoney/UsefulCSS) in a while. But I have made a few skins.

And if you want some more css,

So you can use those links to to get more css code to put in User:Chili14/monobook.css.

GeorgeMoney (talk) 00:15, 29 August 2006 (UTC)

Here are some reasons it might not work:
a) You need to comment out the <pre> so instead of just putting "<pre> put /* <pre> */ (and the same thing for the </pre>)
b) You might need to clear your cache

I hope that helps! GeorgeMoney (talk) 00:50, 29 August 2006 (UTC)

Get well soon

I hope you feel better soon, Chili! I know it's hard to pull yourself away from Wikipedia, but a lot of rest and sleep will certainly help you to get well. Now, if you can just figure out how to edit while sleeping, you'll be all set. ;) -- Natalya 01:32, 29 August 2006 (UTC)

Warning to User:Teenwriter

Hi Chili, I think you issued a warning to User_talk:Teenwriter by mistake. He's never vandalised Long Way Home as claimed. Get well soon. --  Netsnipe  ►  04:30, 29 August 2006 (UTC)

  • hey Chili,

As any good hare from Redwall would say: Abso-bally-ootely no malice tendered against you for your 'assaults,' wot! (If you aren't familiar with the Redwall fiction series, then forget the allusion.) Suffice it to say, no hard feelings about the vandalism and all that, just glad we're passed it! :-) I also look forward to working with you in the future (especially on CCM-related articles...which I love to create/edit...as you know)! --Teenwriter 03:56, 4 September 2006 (UTC)

I'd like to thank you Chili14 for either supporting, opposing, commenting, nominating, reading, editing, promoting and/or anything else that you may have done for my successful request for adminship (I've broken the one thousand sysop barrier!); I'm thanking you for getting involved, and for this I am very grateful. I hope to be able to serve Wikipedia more effectively with my new tools and that we can continue to build our free encyclopedia, for knowledge is power, but only wisdom is liberty. Please do feel free to get in touch if you feel you can improve me in any way; I will be glad to listen to all comments. Again, thanks 8)             —Xyrael / 12:06, 2 September 2006 (UTC)

Re:Help

I'm not too active right now, and I don't need help with anything but I thank you so much for reaching out. I'm glad to have you as a great friend. Thank you! --WillMak050389 02:43, 4 September 2006 (UTC)

Re: Your comment on my talk page

Someone to copy-edit and add some more info to the Central Coast Mariners FC article would be great. Cheers, Daniel.Bryant 06:06, 4 September 2006 (UTC)

RE: I want to help YOU

Hi Chili,

Thanks for the offer.

At the moment there's nothing I can think of for you to do- I'm not very active at the moment- I'm working a lot more and am moving soon too!

If I think of something I'll be sure to post it.

Thanks again!

RE: Help?

Hey, thanks very much Chili, that's so kind of you to offer :) Don't worry tho, I'm geting better now, and can hopefully start getting back to my editing.

And, as far as Will's concerned, I've left a message on his talk, and I'm going to email him as well. Hopefully, he'll choose to come back to wikipedia soon :)

Anyway, I will hopefully talk to you again soon. And, once again, thank you so much for all your kindness :) Thε Halo Θ 11:08, 5 September 2006 (UTC)

Colours etc

Thanks for your kind words, Chili14!

Let me know your favourite colours/colour scheme, and the exact spelling and capitalisation of your preferred username and I'll do you a graphic tomorrow afternoon! (Sorry that the latter sounds odd, but people often say "you did a grahic that fits User:JohnDoe, but I'd obviously prefer User:SoMeThiNGstraNGEr". So I don't presume!) Denver 2008 - the latest

Hey, Chili14. I'm dropping by the talk pages of Wikipedians for Denver 2008 today with an update on the bidding process and where Denver's bid is currently at.

First off, Denver has a new, unofficial bid homepage up today: http://www.denverdnc2008.com/ , which you may want to check out for more info on the bid to bring the DNC to the Mile High City in '08.

Second, today the site-selection committee is expected to announce the final two cities in the bid for 2008. It's expected by most pundits and bloggers that Denver and St. Paul will likely be the two finalists, but many think that dark horse New York may edge out a seat in the final days of the bidding process.

Third, we're expecting an official site for Denver's bid to emerge within days from the mind of Colorado Democratic Party V.C. Dan Slater (founder and operator of the popular Colorado blog Demonotes).

Well, that's the basics of the day-after-Labor Day DNC update, from a dem from Denver (that'd be me). If your looking for more info on the process that this is all about, check out the premier blog for doing so, http://demconwatch.blogspot.com (a link is on my page: links section for both this blog, Demnotes, and Denver 2008). If you’re looking for more info on the Democratic Party straight from the donkey's mouth check out http://www.democrats.org the official site of the Democratic National Committee.

Anyhow, have a good one. Editor19841 (talk) 23:28, 5 September 2006 (UTC)

PS Glad to hear your feelin' better. There's been a lot of Wikipedians getting sick lately, so your not alone. -Editor19841 (talk)
