Hi, thank you for the information. I did run this by the wiki medicine group when I drafted the articles and acknowledged my position with the CDCN as a possible conflict of interest; however, the answer I received was that mentioning organizations related to rare diseases was not inappropriate. Would it be possible to make any mention of the CDCN on the page? It is in fact the leading organization focused on the disease and may be a valuable resource for people reading the article. You can make mention of a notable organization, but you should not include an invitation for people to join. Also, you may want to read up on WP:EL, which gives guidelines for external links. External links are not appropriate for the body of an article. Natureium (talk) 14:28, 16 May 2018 (UTC)
