Secondary

edit

Hi Claire, has anyone explained the concept of WP:SECONDARY? The idea if you haven't noticed the preference is for citations to reviews. Wikipedia has no aspiration as a technical journal. If you want further guidance, feel free to ask. The basic mission is to replace most primary refs with summarizing reviews. Thanks for listening.--Smokefoot (talk) 21:18, 8 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hi Smokefoot. The topic being relatively recent, only one review has been published on the subject. Should I only cite this reference then? Any suggestion to improve the article is welcome. ClaireCChatalova (talk) 21:28, 8 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
Use your judgement. Maybe some of the citations could be removed by citing the review that discusses them. As a new editors, you dont need to get nervous, so another option is to just ignore my comments for now. Many new promising editors who know lots of detail, write like you do. With experience, you might shift toward broader topics, where you will naturally cite mainly textbooks and reviews. Happy editing. --Smokefoot (talk) 23:27, 8 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
