Please refrain from making test edits in Wikipedia pages, such as those you made to Chemical element, even if you intend to fix them later. Your edits did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Materialscientist (talk) 02:35, 30 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Your RFA

edit

I highly recommend that you don't go through with it and withdraw your self-nomination. Seeing as how you only have seven edits and have been around for less than a month it's guaranteed that you will not pass. I also recommend the adopt-a-user program, where you can get mentoring from experienced editors. Just a suggestion--GroovySandwich 11:13, 8 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

By the way, below is a standard welcome template that you might want to read, it has some useful info for people just starting out here. --Floquenbeam (talk) 15:27, 8 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, talk pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Please don't remove other people's comments. Rschen7754 06:17, 10 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Adminship?

edit

I noticed that you've nominated yourself for adminship, against a previous warning that it's not a good idea.

Perhaps you don't realize that you don't need to be an administrator to contribute meaningfully to Wikipedia, and that many of the best Wikipedians are not and never have been administrators?

Anyone can edit and contribute. Administrator status is only given to those who have consistently shown that they make positive contributions and help build community. Jsharpminor (talk) 06:26, 10 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Along with the helpful links posted by Floquenbeam above, please familiarize yourself with the policy on using multiple accounts. Thanks! VQuakr (talk) 07:00, 10 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Stop screwing around or you're going to get blocked (I'm already going to block your other account). --Floquenbeam (talk) 13:54, 10 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Blocked

edit

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 month for multiple reasons including vandalism at Chemical element, Cumbre Vieja, Maldives, and Cambodia; sockpuppetry: User:Periodictabledotco; trolling at WP:RfA and User talk:Floquenbeam. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Unblocked

edit

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I committed sock puppetry because I really wanted to be an admin and contribute to society. The "vandalism" on chemical element was because someone told me that. The others (info) were from the secondary close passage book.

Decline reason:

Let me see if I understand this. You abused multiple accounts, you committed vandalism, and you harassed editors... because you want to be an administrator? No. I am extending your block to indefinite length as it is very clear that you are not here to usefully contribute. Hersfold (t/a/c) 05:30, 13 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
