Hello, I'm S0091. I noticed that you recently removed content from Research and Analysis Wing without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. S0091 (talk) 20:01, 22 March 2020 (UTC)

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Research and Analysis Wing, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you.   Hello, I noticed that you recently removed content from Timeline of the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine without adequately explaining why. Thanks. Hey

don't you think what you removed from the Ukraine page was relevant?

I think it was

Great Mercian (talk) 20:20, 20 June 2022 (UTC)

@Great Mercian: Hello. In my opinion, the content that I removed was not relevant to the timeline. Lithuania's decision to restrict rail goods between Russian territories is most probably a response to the invasion, which makes the decision related to the invasion, but not necessarily relevant to the timeline article. I feel that Russia's complaint about a third country doesn't have a place in the article, which primarily contains information about what is happening in the battleground. — CAPTAIN JTK (talk) 04:38, 21 June 2022 (UTC)

Well, now the BBC has reported on it, clearly it is important to include if they're covering it. Great Mercian (talk) 17:18, 21 June 2022 (UTC)

@Great Mercian: While I still don't see the relevance of it, I'll respect your opinion and let it stay. I'll just change the tense to match with the rest of the article. — CAPTAIN JTK (talk) 18:41, 21 June 2022 (UTC)

Bushra Fakhoury.

Hi I am editing the page on Wikipedia about me.

You have revered the changes

Can you allow them. I do not want my date of birth to be published. I took out the references to schools as I did not attend these schools ) I changed the details of my father I removed details about my sons hotel as this is not about me etc

thanks Bushra — Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.188.142.186 (talk) 10:05, 21 June 2022 (UTC)

Hello. In case you are really the subject of the article, then you editing the article would be a Conflict of Interest. Although Wikipedia discourages people from writing about themselves, removal of unsourced or poorly sourced material is acceptable. However, if you want to make big changes to the article, I suggest you create an account, disclose your COI and then discuss the changes on the article's talk page. Additionally, if you have serious concerns about the article, please see WP:BLPCOMPLAINT. — CAPTAIN JTK (talk) 10:57, 21 June 2022 (UTC)
Thanks

June 2022

I clearly stated that the information was unsourced and irrelevant? I gave a valid reason.

I have reinstated the edit. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A00:23C6:9821:BA01:6153:710:2579:48B6 (talk) 16:20, 21 June 2022 (UTC)

I apologize for my oversight. I did not notice that the given sources were actually unrelated. I have come across multiple vandals who perform section blankings, and I mistook you for one & accordingly reverted the edit.
I have removed the warning from your talk page so that your editing record remains clean.
Thanks for pointing out my mistake & reinstating the edit. — CAPTAIN JTK (talk) 18:50, 21 June 2022 (UTC)

Black hat

please look at the edit, it uses Wikipedia as a source multiple times, and Wikipedia is clearly not a reliable source in and of itself — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jamaal5 (talkcontribs) 17:15, 27 November 2022 (UTC)

@Jamaal5 Hello. I have replied to you on your talk page. — CAPTAIN JTK (talk) 17:27, 27 November 2022 (UTC)

The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

My Edit

You made a mistake. You took away my edit about edit and I want you to put it back now 2A04:CEC0:108E:D4B8:0:43:A83F:6A01 (talk) 16:04, 30 November 2022 (UTC)

@2A04:CEC0:108E:D4B8:0:43:A83F:6A01 Hello. Could you please provide a source for the information you added about Rúben Neves' siblings? — CAPTAIN JTK (talk) 17:40, 30 November 2022 (UTC)

Barnstar

I just wanted to thank you for the Barnstar that you gave me. Thank you for taking the time out of your day to acknowledge my contributions, I really do appreciate it. In the future though, I think most would prefer if you added it to a user's talk page. A lot of people can be stingy about who edits their user page. Hey man im josh (talk) 18:05, 14 December 2022 (UTC)

@Hey man im josh Thanks for the advice. Will take care of it in the future. — CAPTAIN JTK (talk) 18:36, 14 December 2022 (UTC)

Edits on Eystein Halfdansson

Hi there! Just asking why you reverted my edit in the article on Eystein Halfdansson? I provided an explanation on the talk page why I edited the article. This was a constructive contribution as it corrected false information in the article, however you messaged me saying that it was not. Rwtw01 (talk) 15:46, 30 January 2023 (UTC) Rwtw01 (talk) 15:57, 30 January 2023 (UTC)

@Rwtw01 Hi. After going through the discussion on the talk page and verifying the sources, I agree that your edits were constructive. Accordingly, I have removed the warning from your talk page.
However, I have 2 suggestions for you:
1. Edit Summaries — It's always better to provide an edit summary for your edits; it may simply be "Made changes as per talk page discussion" or something similar. This not only makes your edits clear to other editors, but it also helps Counter Vandalism Patrollers distinguish your constructive edits from vandalism.
2. Citations — It's always advisable to provide references to reliable sources that support your edit. For example, in the case of this particular edit of yours, providing a reference to the relevant links, PDFs etc. would reinforce the factual accuracy of your edit. This would ensure that your edits are not reverted on the basis of being unsourced.
Thanks for improving Wikipedia. — CAPTAIN JTK (talk) 16:24, 31 January 2023 (UTC)
Thank you for removing the warning and for your suggestions! I was not aware at the time that I could provide a summary. I will take them into account in the future. Thank you again for your helpful interaction! Rwtw01 (talk) 08:25, 1 February 2023 (UTC)

Wrongful unedit

Unedited my proven sources about 2 sites Vofq (talk) 14:35, 11 February 2023 (UTC)

@Vofq: Your edits clearly constitute vandalism. If you attempt to vandalize Wikipedia one more time, I will report you and you will most likely be blocked from editing. — CAPTAIN JTK (talk) 14:37, 11 February 2023 (UTC)

Welcoming

You already welcomed user 96.106.43.135, I was just thinking, I'll do it to find you already had! Well done. ButterCashier (talk) 11:50, 17 February 2023 (UTC)

@ButterCashier: Thanks! Welcoming a user is surely a nice break from issuing all those warnings. — CAPTAIN JTK (talk) 12:17, 17 February 2023 (UTC)

That IP on Oliebol

I'm thinking they might be right about their version being an improvement - but their antagonistic behavior leaves a lot to be desired. LilianaUwU (talk / contributions) 07:57, 21 February 2023 (UTC)

Hi. So far, the user has not provided any reasonable explanation for the removal of a maintenance template, an entire section and multiple categories, therefore I do not see how the article is being improved. — CAPTAIN JTK (talk) 08:04, 21 February 2023 (UTC)

Ian Rickson

Dear Captain,

Thank you for your message. My existing wikipedia page doesn’t reflect so much of my career, which is in the public domain so can easily be checked. I simply added some of my work but still left out countless things. I think my agents have also tried to edit it but have failed. I can assure you that I am not grandstanding or showing off, just wanting the to reflect a sense of what I have done. Thank you.
