Marcia Hines italics

edit

Recently you altered the italics for a number of titles in the Lead section of Marcia Hines indicating in the edit summary that they were unnecessary. The italics surrounded two Play titles, a Periodical and a TV series title and their respective links. An album title was left in italics. According to my understanding of WP:MOS italic type, italics are to be used for Periodicals, Plays and Television series as well as Music album titles regardless if they are linked to other articles or not. Could you explain more fully why they are unnecessary?Shaidar cuebiyar (talk) 00:46, 21 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Sorry for that. As I state in my User Page, I am new to Wikipedia. I was unaware of formatting rules & guidelines. Sorry. CAJonesProductions (talk) 14:53, 24 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your prompt response.Shaidar cuebiyar (talk) 11:45, 21 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Not a problem.
By the way, I notice nearly all of your edit summaries end in four tildes. As far as I know it is not necessary to put the tildes in an edit summary, just put them at the end of any of your contributions to a talkpage but not when editing an article.Shaidar cuebiyar (talk) 13:10, 30 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Meetup 12 June 2011

edit

Hi! I just wanted to let you know that Liam Wyatt is in town, so we were thinking of doing a quick meetup at Brunelli's cafe in Rundle Street, Adelaide (at the Rundle Mall end, near the car park) at 6pm on Sunday, with a possibility of drinks afterwards. So if you're interested we hope to see you there. :) - Bilby (talk) 02:55, 10 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
