"Hokkaidō and the Tōhoku region [of Honshu]" makes sense, but "Hokkaidō and Tōhoku region" cannot be understood well by English-language readers because of the missing "the" and a lack of common knowledge about the location of Tōhoku. In addition, you have readded changes to this area of the page four times in a row without participating in discussion. Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did at Mainland Japan, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary.
