Assistive technology

It looks like your addition was reverted by Dodger67, who wrote "Revert large changes that introduced a lot of advertorial and POV material about assitsive devices relevant o nly a narrow range of impairments." Basically, it looks like there was too much of a focus on vision impairment, as it looks like all of your additions focused specifically on that, which puts undue weight on the topic of assistive technology for blind persons as opposed to someone who may be impaired because they are crippled, have lost a limb, mental impairment, or so on. You also gave a lot of specific information about devices, including links to the product pages and price points - this is what made things seem like an advertisement for these items. All of this also goes into a lot of detail that isn't really necessary on Wikipedia, as it tends to take a very general look at things and only mention specific items if they are notable. (IE, if a certain app is notable enough for an article then it may be worthwhile to mention it briefly.) I hope that this helps! Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 16:09, 11 December 2017 (UTC)
