2014 Cubs season edit

I noticed you just inserted a whole new roster. This is not to question what you did. It's more to ask why, so that I can understand distinctions and reasons for editing procedures @ baseball related articles (Cubs and others). Since the roster now contains players that were traded (Darwin Barney for instance and Jeff S.), is the "season-is-over" roster for all the players that were on the roster during the year? Thanks. Yes... look at all the past season articles. At the end of the year, the current roster is removed (actually moved to the following seasons article) and it is replaced by a roster that includes all the players that played for the team during the season. Spanneraol 19:01, 30 September 2014 (UTC)

Work-Begins-on-Wrigley-Field-Renovation-Project edit

Renovation Project The long-awaited $575 million Wrigley Field four-year renovation project is getting underway. The Chicago Cubs 2014 baseball season ended Sunday Sept 28 and the construction started Monday Sept 29. Over the next six months, the bleachers in both outfields will be expanded, the stadium's footprint will extend further onto both Waveland and Sheffield Avenues, and seven new outfield signs along with a 2,400 square foot video scoreboard in right field will be installed. The parking lots along Clark Street will be excavated for underground players' locker rooms and lounges. The historic character of century-old Wrigley Field may be threatened but so will the losing nature of the franchise.
