Non Free Images in you User Space

Hey there Buster7, thank you for your contributions! I am a bot alerting you that Non-free images are not allowed in the user or talk-space. I removed some images that I found on User:Buster7. In the future, please refrain from adding fair-use images to your user-space drafts or your talk page. See a log of images removed today here, shutoff the bot here and report errors here. Thank you, -- DASHBot (talk) 22:36, 2 February 2010 (UTC)

Ugly Template:ARS/Tagged replaced

The main template:

This user rescues articles for the Article Rescue Squadron.

replaces the ugly template I created and you have at the top of your page. It is now thankfully obsolete... ;) Okip (formerly Ikip) 17:05, 11 February 2010 (UTC)

Non-free image in userspace

Hi Buster, hope you're doing well. Sorry for intruding your userpage, but I I recently removed the non-free image File:Beau-ti-ful.jpg from it. Because it is fair-use, and not free content, the material is to be used minimally, which basically means just being used in articles directly related to the subject. On a side note, I also noticed that you seem to have placed an extra vandalism warning on User talk:99.19.99.236. Thanks, and keep up the great work. ~SuperHamster Talk Contribs 01:01, 15 February 2010 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Buster7/Contingency

A tag has been placed on Buster7/Contingency requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Your contributed article, Buster7/Contingency

Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, Buster7/Contingency. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as yourself. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - Dollo's law. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will to continue helping improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Dollo's law - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think that the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. TeapotgeorgeTalk 18:31, 15 February 2010 (UTC)

Bushes, etc.

Re: Bushes: no problem.
And thanks for the earlier welcome message. Regards, Diiscool (talk) 18:39, 17 February 2010 (UTC)

Final discussion for Wikipedia:Requests for comment/Biographies of living people

Hello, I note that you have commented on the first phase of Wikipedia:Requests for comment/Biographies of living people

As this RFC closes, there are two proposals being considered:

  1. Proposal to Close This RfC
  2. Alternate proposal to close this RFC: we don't need a whole new layer of bureaucracy

Your opinion on this is welcome. Okip 02:05, 24 February 2010 (UTC)

Whew... that's a relief. For a moment I thought, bugger, yet another fight over images! :) --Epipelagic (talk) 04:02, 28 February 2010 (UTC)

For the record...

To close the loop on my earlier comment where I mentioned you, that was an attempt (and an obvious failure) at humor by alluding to the practice where people share the exact minute and second of nude scenes for famous actors in their movies. If you'd never heard of that, it probably wasn't funny.  :( It was definitely not an attempt to deride your opinion on the matter at hand (whatever it was). As I've stated in the past, I value your insight, I trust your judgment and I recognize your objectivity among the WP community. I wouldn't want that misunderstanding to dilute that. Fcreid (talk) 15:41, 28 February 2010 (UTC)

Understand completely, my friend. I'm sure we'll be talking. Take care. Fcreid (talk) 23:08, 28 February 2010 (UTC)
