Managing a conflict of interest

edit

Hello, BurgessKubrick444. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicizing, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. S0091 (talk) 15:18, 30 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

Starting new articles

edit

Hi BurgessKubrick444, please see WP:DRAFTS for how to start a new article in draft space. Going forward, do not use you User page (User:BurgessKubrick444) to draft articles and certainly never move your User talk page (note the check box, "Move associated talk page" when performing a move). If you have questions or need help, you can ask at the Teahouse. S0091 (talk) 15:28, 30 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for the feedback. I apologize. I realized I was doing this after I created a few pages. I'll work on remedying this in the future. Cheers! BurgessKubrick444 (talk) 15:48, 30 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
It happens. Please also see the note above. Do you have a conflict of interest with any topics you have written about? S0091 (talk) 15:52, 30 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
