Sanctions edit

This means that as a Troubles related article it is subject to a 1RR restriction. Please use the talk page, and reverts will lead to sanctions. Thanks. --Domer48'fenian' 18:34, 12 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Civility edit

Hello Bunyip-Sun. We have a few policies around here, WP:CIV and WP:NPA, that I suggest you read. Comments like these go absolutely nowhere towards helping improve articles, in fact quite the opposite. Instead they inflame and aggravate already tense discussions. If you have nothing constructive to add to talk pages, please refrain from commenting. If you cannot abide by those policies, then you will very quickly find yourself restricted from contributing. Consider this a friendly warning. Rockpocket 18:11, 28 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Actually I appreciate the frankness of this editor's comments. He's saying what we all feel about this Loyalist/Republican madness. The issue is: how can the wiki put an end to it? We can all see the pressure it's putting admins under to find long-term solutions and whilst I feel it's working gradually I also think we're a long way away from having a firm set of rules on all Troubles related articles. I've no doubt this applies to other ethnic conflicts too and as a result it's placing the available admins under incredible and unwarranted pressure.Thunderer (talk) 01:56, 30 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
