Notability

- Notability is something established by independent sources, not by your assertion of their importance to you, regardless of how you may feel. In general, a person is notable if there are multiple discussions in major independent media. Family members, friends, and so on don't make it into Britannica, and they wouldn't meet requirements here either. Acroterion (talk) 04:30, 7 March 2008 (UTC)

editHi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button
