Hi Bug Boy, Welcome :) .
We are happy to find a steward for British Butterflies. User:Shyamal, User:VirenVaz and self are the (self-appointed) stewards of the Indian Butterflies Wiki Project (unofficial, as of now). See some of our stuff at :-
- List of Butterflies of India (Papilionidae)
- Of the paps - Common Mormon, Tailed Jay are nice pages.
- List of Butterflies of India (Riodinidae) (list page only, all rest stubs till date).
- Some other nice pages (nice=photos :) ) are Grass Demon and Red Pierrot.
- Our 'star' as of date Plain Tiger.
Like you we feel the need to fill out the Butterflies of our country :) but our species-to-editor ratio is formidable (1000 odd species : 03 editors) :( or yummm :) depending on how you look at it.
We are happy to find a person taking interest in British/Palearctic butterflies as some of these butterflies occur in our country also and are of direct interest to us.
May I suggest a semi-formal encyclopaedic structured format ( details at our proposal in WikiProject Arthropods, 'An Example in Use: the Indian butterflies wikibase' ) rather than the prevailing general format?

- Thanks Ashlin, nice to know my edits aren't going unnoticed. As I said i will proably change the layout in time but at the moment just concentrating on getting the details written up. May ask for some help though as i'm not completely familiar with the way wikipedia works as yet, i'm still learning!

Thank you for adding info on this species. The previous article was looking a bit thin and the information on the growth cycle, in particular, was sorely needed! Your work in getting this is appreciated.
However, it may be a good idea, rather than outright deleting previously added information, to incorporate newer information with some of the old text -- please be aware that Nymphalis antiopa is a fairly cosmopolitan species and discussing it from a strictly Anglocentric viewpoint may be a bit out of line with our NPOV policy.
Also, you may want to invest in a spellchecker as there were numerous errors in your edit (of course, ignoring Commonwealth English spellings which I know are correct -- but "emergance" and "Nyphalidae" are clearly typographical errors in either dialect). The US name of the species is properly "Mourning Cloak" (an allusion to the species coloration resembling a funerary garment), not "Morning Cloak". This was correct in previous versions of the page and should not have been changed.
I have also added information on food plants in North America, where Grey Willow does not naturally exist (and therefore can not be a customary food plant).
