February 2011 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia! I am glad to see you are interested in discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages such as Talk:Holocene are for discussion related to improving the article, not general discussion about the topic. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. Thank you. December 2011 edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Flax, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. The reverted edit can be found here. - Dwayne wuz here! 15:15, 14 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

You might feel responsible for that page, but you are doing a very poor job with it. All I did was to correct bad grammar and poor word choices and I did not vandalize the page. Brothernight (talk) 15:41, 14 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

October 2012 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not replace pages with blank content, as you did with this edit to Benito Mussolini, as this is confusing to readers. The page's content has been restored for now. If there is a problem with the page, it should be edited or reverted to a previous version if possible; if you think the page should be removed entirely, see further information. Thank you. FanWing edit

Thank you for drawing attention to the broken link at FanWing. I have fixed it: it was in fact a simple in-page edit that you could have done - the trick is knowing what needs fixing. — Cheers, Steelpillow (Talk) 15:10, 29 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

You are welcome. Had I realized that there was a way to fix the problem, I would have done it myself. I will have to do some reading, won't I? -- Brothernight (talk) 16:29, 29 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

August 2014 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. At least one of your recent edits, such as the edit you made to Cloward–Piven strategy, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at the welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make some test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
