Help me! edit

{{help me}}

I need to delete the page that I recently created. I added the db-author line to the top, but now I am getting a message on the page that says "This Article May Meet Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion as a page where the author of the only substantial content has requested deletion and/or blanked the page in good faith. See CSD G7." My understanding is that if I add the db-author line and it qualifies for speedy deletion, the page should be deleted immediately. However, the page is still up. What is the misunderstanding?

Request reason:

I was recently blocked and I am so confused why.. I never intended to do anything wrong. I work at a company called bloXroute and was in charge of making a wikipedia page for them with as much cited information as possible. I wasn't advertising any services. In fact, the company does not even sell products to a consumer. It is a legitimate company created by researchers from Northwestern and Cornell University and their tech has been cited frequently online. What can I do to unblock myself? I have made numerous edits to wikipedia before even making a new page from scratch so I thought I was crossing all my T's and dotting all my I's. Please advise someone! :( Brooke.walter (talk) 19:55, 28 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

You are blocked because you violated Wikipedia's Terms of Use, which require disclosure of paid edits. See WP:PAID. You also appear to be engaged in covert advertising. You should also be aware that Wikipedia's Arbitration Committee has applied general sanctions to all pages relating to blockchain and cryptocurrencies, broadly construed, precisely to allow administrators to act in cases of covert advertising like this. If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
