Translation for Dutch Wikipedia edit

Is there any possibility that you would be able to translate the page Van der Vlist into Dutch for Wikipedia Netherlands, or do you know someone who would do this? Jburton.vdv (talk) 13:35, 16 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

Jburton.vdv, if you're specifically asking Brian, you don't need to use the {{helpme}} command. If not, I would suggest the Reference desk or the Teahouse. Primefac (talk) 14:56, 16 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

List of countries that have never qualified for a major football tournament edit

Can I suggest that you check this list for accuracy? Without much difficulty, I found four countries from Europe that have qualified for World Cups: Wales, Northern Ireland, East Germany and Israel. Regards, BencherliteTalk 13:59, 23 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

License tagging for Image:TheklaReuten.ogg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:TheklaReuten.ogg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 17:05, 24 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

aXXo edit

I saw that you were hoping to get the aXXo article started up again. I've started a aXXo-beta that I hope you can expand and make better. Also, I used one of your quotes on the discussion page as I thought you brought up an important point. I hope you don't mind -- Esemono (talk) 14:54, 13 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hi, thanks for quoting me, that is very flattering ;) I don't really understand what is the big deal here with removing him. Do you know why they did it? was the reason really that he wasn't well known enough? That would be insane, how OLD are these people anyway, 55? -- Brian Tjoe-Nij 19:22, 13 January 2008
Yeah I know and the crazy thing is these people type like we're crazy that we think aXXo is famous! What are they living under a rock? Oh do you know more about why people from the scene hate aXXo? I know it has something to do with his low quality releases but I'm not sure.-- Esemono (talk) 00:37, 14 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Gullible is not in the dictionary edit

A tag has been placed on Gullible is not in the dictionary requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. clpo13(talk) 10:21, 6 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
