November 2020 edit

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for advertising or self-promoting in violation of the conflict of interest and notability guidelines.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  MER-C 14:49, 7 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I came here to make edits and contribute to Wikipedia. I have only one conflict of interest where I edited and submitted the page of my employer. I have necessary declaration for this on my userpage. Apart from that all my other edits have no conflict of interest. I participated in a few AfDs and everywhere I made only policy based arguments. I am not a sock or meatpuppet and have not used Wikipedia for advertising or self-promotion. Please do check my contributions so far. I just want to make my contributions to the Wikipedia and if I made a mistake then please inform me and I will rectify because I am a quick lerner. This block is not necessary and I will make only positive contributions if unblocked. Please consider this appeal as a request for a second chance.Bretalins (talk) 15:28, 7 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

After examining your edits, I am in complete agreement with MER-C- and until you choose to be more forthcoming, I see no pathway to being unblocked for you. As such, I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 15:50, 7 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

331dot, could you please be more specific? At least provide me with a diff so I can understand! I do not see how much more I need to explain here. All I feel here is misuse of admin rights. So far I edited a few articles, participated in a few AfDs including improving an article[1] that I will be expanding if unblocked and submitting an article about my employer. Could you please care to explain a bit more? Thank you.Bretalins (talk) 18:26, 7 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
All I will say is that it is clear from your edits that you either are not a new editor or you have been educated by others on editing. 331dot (talk) 18:33, 7 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
331dot, and how is that related with my unblock appeal please? Learning Wikipedia is not a rocket science. Afterall it is a wiki and I have been registered for several months. Bretalins (talk) 18:37, 7 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
You are free to make another unblock request for another administrator to review in which you make that argument, and see how it goes. I'm quite confident in my views, but I'm not the last word. 331dot (talk) 18:42, 7 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I failed to convince a reviewing admin but I am appealing again because this block is not necessary. In continutation with my previous unblock request, I want to emphasise that so far I did not intend to harm Wikipedia and you will see only positive contributions from me if unblocked. Thank you. Decline reason:

Unfortunately, this request was insufficient to convince an administrator to unblock you.

You are welcome to try again, with a new, significantly reworded request. SQLQuery me! 16:08, 28 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
