Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Elon Musk. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continual disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. XYZt (talk) 04:52, 7 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

How about you fuck off, Elon literally asked for it on Joe Rogan's podcast. Brenae wafato (talk) 04:53, 7 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

Please stop attacking other editors. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 05:15, 7 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 48 hours for disruptive editing and incivility [1]. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Kevin (aka L235 · t · c) 05:34, 7 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

Regarding comments left on Brenae Wafto's talk: I did just watch ELon Musk state that his description on Wikipedia should be changed from "magnate" to "magnet" on Joe Rogan's podcast. An edit to Elon Musk stating that he is a self-described or self-professed 'business magnet' would seem to be appropriate, and punishing Brenae Wafto would be inappropriate. @DanD: Elon was joking. Breanae should not have taken it seriously and vandalized Wikipedia along with engaging in harassment of users who disagreed with them. XYZt (talk) 06:01, 7 September 2018 (UTC)Reply
@DanD: Sorry, I stand by my block. It is entirely inappropriate to disruptively modify a person's description or to add a false quote of a news story in a Wikipedia article – regardless of the article subject's wishes as expressed on a podcast. But that wasn't all – following a reversion of that edit, the user told another editor to "fuck off". A 48 hour block is entirely appropriate in my view. Agreed on the inappropriate insult and Brenae's edit. However, had this editor qualified the edit, I do think it appropriate to more accurately portray Elon Musk's character based on his own words. DanD (talk) 06:12, 7 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

I am an anonymous coward, and side with you, Brenae wafato. I have a dream that some day, Wikipedians won't be such humorless pricks. The worst that would've happened is some high schooler's class report would've been marked down by a teacher. And to those saying Elon is joking, Elon has said many things that people thought were jokes, but he ended up making them a reality. I say, if the guy behind Tesla, SpaceX, etc. wants to coin a new phrase, he should get to do it. Peace y'all, I'm out. 2607:F010:2BD:2:2941:124B:8C3E:BD36 (talk) 16:42, 7 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

The purpose of Wikipedia is to provide a high-quality free encyclopedia to the world, not to entertain a small segment of the population. I appreciate your thoughts, and you are absolutely free to create your own website dedicated to Elon Musk jokes or anything else that you like. Wiki mods take themselves too seriously. It wasn't clearly a joke. Your edit should've remained. 69.10.120.28 (talk) 21:55, 7 September 2018 (UTC)Reply
