Unblocked edit

After consultation with an editor who can confidentially check the geographic and technical origins of accounts, I've unblocked your account. I apologize for the inconvenience - we've had a disruptive editor who's used multiple accounts to disrupt the article you edited, and your edit was very similar to the contributions of that editor. Since the editor had abused the unblock function with spurious requests, they had their talkpage access removed, and in assuming your account was related, I did likewise in this block. Much appreciated, and I apologize for the unsourced edit. BreadHammer (talk) 02:49, 2 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Few editors add sourced content on their first edit, so no apology is needed. Wikipedia's interface makes referencing remarkably hard, a pet peeve of mine about WP, so it takes some learning to get it right. You just happened to wander into an area that was being very closely watched because the problem editor was adding spurious references - that, in fact, is a critical difference between your edit and theirs. Oh, I see. I've made small edits to a few other Wikia sites, that require no source, mostly video game Wikis where literally every other thing is an arguement. I usually just correct spelling and stuff. BreadHammer (talk) 23:18, 2 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
