Simonsbath plaque to Fortescue edit
Hi, Can you help again with the Simonsbath article. It currently says "Sir John William Fortescue was librarian at Windsor Castle 1905–26 and was best known for his sixteen-volume History of the British Army. After his death in 1933 his ashes were scattered locally. The younger sons, had the courtesy title of Lord Ebrington. The last Lord Ebrington died in World War II at El Alamein and this cairn was built in his memory as is indicated thereon by the plaque". However this page says he died without issue. It does say the memorial cairn (with photo) "the cairn was built by his family at the suggestion of his widow." Would you be happy if we change the Simonsbath wikipedia article to agree with this source or can you clarify the family relationships & that the plaque is to John William Fortescue & not last Lord Ebrington?— Rod talk 13:42, 17 January 2011 (UTC)
