Proposed deletion of Smartlist

edit

The article Smartlist has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

no evidence of notability

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 06:15, 11 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Articles for deletion nomination of Smartlist

edit

I have nominated Smartlist, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Smartlist. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 05:18, 12 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia:Meetup/NYC/Wiki-Conference

edit

Hi Brian. Wikipedia:Meetup/NYC/Wiki-Conference isn't an encyclopedia article, which is why it's on the 'Wikipedia' namespace along with the motley Wikipedia:Meetup pages, and a whole bunch of other non-encyclopedia stuff. Thanks, and hope to see you there! :)--Pharos (talk) 05:45, 23 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hi. As you recently commented in the straw poll regarding the ongoing usage and trial of Pending changes, this is to notify you that there is an interim straw poll with regard to keeping the tool switched on or switching it off while improvements are worked on and due for release on November 9, 2010. This new poll is only in regard to this issue and sets no precedent for any future usage. Your input on this issue is greatly appreciated. Off2riorob (talk) 23:29, 20 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

edit

Notice: An RFC is being conducted here at Talk:Hard diskdrive#RFC on the use of the IEC prefixes. The debate concerns this table which includes columns comparing SI and Binary prefixes to describe storage capacity. We welcome your input

Your input is needed on the SOPA initiative

edit

Hi Brandorr,

You are receiving this message either because you expressed an opinion about the proposed SOPA blackout before full blackout and soft blackout were adequately differentiated, or because you expressed general support without specifying a preference. Please ensure that your voice is heard by clarifying your position accordingly.

Thank you.
