Most Byzantine historians may be spelled in several ways, so

'Procopius' (Latinized) vs. 'Prokopios' (transliterated Ancient Greek). It's probably best to keep the names here as per the name of the underlying article, so: 'Procopius' but 'Anna Komnena'

'Theophylact Simocatta' rather than (the equally correct) 'Theophylaktos Simokattes'. (NOT Theophylakt Simokatta, which is the Latinized 'Theophylact Simocatta' with c's replaced with k's). JESL2 (talk) 15:29, 24 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
