Hello Brandi,

    I was thinking about some topics we could look into and one of them was Hermann Rorschach. I was thinking that it would be really interesting to look into either human development theories or maybe go a different way and look at serial killer theories. Hello Group 2,

I was thinking about doing one of the suggested articles that Dr. Council had listed in the Wikipedia resources tap. I think doing an article on one of the women of psychology could be a good choice for our project. Some of the pros of doing a person would be I feel we could make a well balanced article by equally talking about their early history and later history, along with with contributions to psychology. Also it could be easier to write in a non-essay non-argumentative style of writing. The cons to doing a person would be it may not be quite as interesting as doing a theory in psychology, but I feel if we did do a theory there could be so much to talk about that we could get lost or overwhelmed. Another con would it could become easier to begin to write in a essay style format if we wore to write about a theory in psychology. These are my first thought about picking a topic. Hi group,

I agree that there are a lot of pros to choosing a person, and Hermann Rorschach may be a good one, as Ben suggested. His name is well known but there is not a lot of information about him on his page. Women psychologists would also be interesting, but it is hard to know which one to pick. I glanced through the list and the only name I recognized was Karen Horney. She has a pretty well-developed page but it has a flag for close paraphrasing. Alternatively, if we didn't go with a person, I looked through the list of psychology stubs and some which I had heard of or seemed interesting were Ink blot test, Luria-Nebraska neuropsychological battery, Grounding (punishment), and Creeping Normality. The serial killer theories that Ben mentioned are currently just a section on the main serial killer page that has a flag about needing more of a worldwide view, so that would also be a possibility. Hello group,

My vote is for doing Hermann Rorschach as our article. The ink blot test would be a good one to do too, but I believe it is kinda already done in the fact that if you look up the Rorschach Test this a complete article and what the ink blot test is. My second choice would be what Brandi suggested which was the Luria-Nebraska neuropsychological battery. My first option is Hermann Rorschach and my second is Luria-Nebraska neuropsychological battery. RossMick (talk) 17:45, 4 February 2016 (UTC)

    I support Ross's options for Hermann Rorschach and then Luria-Nebraska. The Neuropsychological battery has very little information on the page which could be a good or bad sign but it could be something that we can look into.Bakasuraryu (talk) 19:17, 4 February 2016 (UTC)

Dr. Council's comments on your choices

Your topic choices are good, but I need to comment on Hermann Rorschach. One group last year tried editing this article, and they ran afoul of an editor who seems to be invested in this article and hovering over it. He reverted the article, and will keep on doing this. People like this will always win because they have more time than you do. I tried to work with him. Anyway, read the talk page and look at the history. The most recent revision from my class was in early december. I think my student was Lavendergrl. I think this editor, martinevans something, might be ready to work with another group of my students. It would be interesting to find out what he's like.
