September 2017 edit

Hello, I'm Dawnseeker2000. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to List of Indian satellites seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Dawnseeker2000 17:07, 19 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Batternut. I noticed that you recently removed content from Pune without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. February 2018 edit

Hello, I'm Dhtwiki. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Kalidas Jayaram, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Dhtwiki (talk) 22:26, 5 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Brown Chocolate. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Chandrayaan-2, but you didn't provide a reliable source. ArbCom 2020 Elections voter message edit

Hello! Voting in the 2020 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 7 December 2020. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2020 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 02:49, 24 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Important Notification edit

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

October 2021 edit

Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits, such as your recent edits to Shivaji, as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. RegentsPark (comment) 12:52, 18 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

You appear to be exclusively marking your edits as minor. Please be careful. --RegentsPark (comment) 12:53, 18 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Please do not smear academics with polemical labels etc. TrangaBellam (talk) 20:17, 31 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

The source comes from an infamous anti-Hindu/India "historian". I've no hate but am opposing the hate of others. Citing a western historian doesn't prove the "academic" source's reliability. You need to show a neutral source, which doesn't peddle any narrative Bramhesh Patil (talk) 20:27, 31 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
And, who adjudges the neutrality? Please consult WP:HISTRS. TrangaBellam (talk) 07:46, 1 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
  • You need to take TrangaBellam's warning above seriously. These two (identical) edit summaries, attacking an academic writer, are completely unacceptable. Please cease your tendentious editing and respect Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy. We don't want your opinion, or my opinion, in either articles or edit summaries. And you don't get to attack living people here on your own talkpage either, as you do with your "infamous anti-Hindu/India 'historian'" Bishonen | tålk 21:03, 31 January 2022 (UTC).Reply

Hi Bramhesh Patil! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Varanasi that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia – it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you.   Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Maurya Empire, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. March 2022 edit

Hello, I'm Kiran891. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Thanjavur Maratha kingdom seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Kiran_891 (TALK) 17:16, 3 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

This is your only warning; if you make personal attacks on others again, as you did at Maratha Empire, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people.

> They have made threats against User:Adhonorium and promised to vandalize wikipedia in certain situations.. See here Kiran_891 (TALK) 17:23, 3 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Nanga Parbat. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Please note that the NPOV terms for the sub-regions of disputed Kashmir region by a long-standing, and hard-won, consensus on Wikipedia are "X-administered," not "X-occupied." So, for example, you would not say, "Jammu and Kashmir (union territory) is India-occupied, only India-administered. I have therefore reverted your edit describing Gilgit-Baltistan to be "Pakistan-occupied." As you seem to have engaged others on that page in edit-warring, please consider this to be both a first and a final warning. Please do not do this again, unless you are contemplating blocks and bans. Best regards, Fowler&fowler«Talk» 07:31, 22 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for persistently making disruptive edits.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Black Kite (talk) 10:26, 11 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

I'm "indefinitely blocked" by a Wikipedia moderator for "disruptive editing" but in reality, I was actually trying to correct a grammatical error in the Kashmir Files page & the Wikipedia editor malfunctioned. Backspacing would cause the cursor to appear at another place & clicking on a citation would open the "discard edit?" pop-up. Please unblock me. Bramhesh Patil (talk) 07:56, 12 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
