Lost Boys of Sudan

edit

Hi Bonnie, I replied to your note on the help desk. I've also taken a look at Lost Boys of Sudan and I made some changes. I put the {{reflist}} back, for reasons explained at WP:HD#Accidentally wiped out references on "Kakuma" page. What I wanted to draw your attention to though, is that I moved your general reference for Kakuma Turkana. However, I am not sure whether you intended for the book to be used as a general reference for the article or if you wanted to list it as one of the books about the Lost Boys. I assumed you intended the former, but if that was wrong it can be fixed. BigNate37(T) 19:09, 29 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Thanks. In the case of the Lost Boys page, the section title is different from Further Reading, so Books and Movies. I actually need to add the book under Books and Movies as I do not know if anyone used our book as a general reference for the article. It was published in 2002, so would be listed first by date (bottom up).
Re the Kakuma page, I tried to "undo," as instructed, but had actually made three edits, so the system was apparently only willing to undo the first one I changed. After that it said I needed to undo manually. That's fine, I can delete my entry, but doesn't look like there is a restore option. What I need to do is restore the two footnotes (references) previously listed. Any ideas?
To undo everything you've done what you want to do is view the page history, click on the date of the most recent revision from before you changed it (that would be the 11 May 2012‎ version). Then go to the top and click edit. It will warn you in a pink rectangle that "You are editing an old revision of this page. If you save it, any changes made since then will be removed." That's exactly what you want to do, so simply go down to the bottom of the edit window, put "rv" or "reverting" or something in for an edit summary, and click Save Page.
