Hi. In your recent article edits, you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

File permission problem with File:Ihor Pawluk z faj - kolor2.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Ihor Pawluk z faj - kolor2.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.  Ronhjones  (Talk) 23:36, 9 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Ihor Pavlyuk

edit

Hello, Bondya. You recently removed two maintenance templates from Ihor Pavlyuk without fixing the problems they point to. PEN is a disambiguation page, a list of different articles that might be called "PEN". That link needs to be replaced by a link to the proper article, if there is one. In addition, the article links to dozens of external sites collecting or commenting on Pavlyuk's work. This is contrary to Wikipedia use of external links, as described at Wikipedia:External links.

If you can fix these problems, that is great. If you cannot, please leave the maintenance tags in place so that other editors can help. Thanks, and happy editing, Cnilep (talk) 03:19, 27 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed maintenance templates from Ihor Pavlyuk. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.
It appears that you are using Wikipedia for self-promotion. Please be advised that I will be asking that the article be deleted on those grounds.

Speedy deletion nomination of Ihor Pavlyuk

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Ihor Pavlyuk requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Status and Advice

edit

As reviewing administrator, I did not delete the page, because the number of publications indicates some degree of significance. However, there are some major problems, and the article is likely to be deleted unless immediately improved in the way I've indicated on the article talk page.

In addition, user pages can be use to describe who you ae, but not for s elf-promotion. Your current user page would need to be cut back substantially. It should not duplicate the article, and usually does not contain explicit links to other sources--at least not to the extent here. DGG ( talk ) 16:23, 3 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Ihor Pavluk Catching Gossamers.jpg

edit

A tag has been placed on File:Ihor Pavluk Catching Gossamers.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

We congratulate Iryna Harpy of political execution order! "History" will not forget you, Iryna Harpy!

I beg your pardon? Who is 'we', and what, exactly, is my relationship to the deletion of this image? WP:NPA... and don't make assumptions about any form of personal interest on behalf of Wikipedia and editors. Naturally, if you wish to play at being a martyr to some unknown form of political persecution, you're welcome to do so. You're also welcome to appeal any deletions: the ball's in your court. --Iryna Harpy (talk) 06:29, 1 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for uploading File:Ihor Pavlyuk Poet.JPG. However, it is currently missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can verify that it has an acceptable license status and a verifiable source. Please add this information by editing the image description page. You may refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:00, 10 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Naomi Foyle

edit

The article Naomi Foyle has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one.
