Phlox sibirica

edit

Thank you for your efforts to improve Wikipedia, including your edits to Phlox sibirica and your creation of Papaver anomalum, and welcome! Since you are a new user and seem to have strong editing skills, I would like to encourage you in your work, but with just a few small suggestions:

  • In articles that aren't about countries, it is the consensus that we don't wikilink countries. Sub-national entities are okay to wikilink, especially ones that readers are less likely to be familiar with.
  • WP:Wikiproject Plants follows Plants of the World Online, so I removed the synonyms you added to Phlox sibirica. When I was creating the stub I noted the possibility that there were some synonyms, but it seems that they may be related some problematic Alaskan collections.
  • Even within citations, we italicize binomial names.

Thanks and keep up the good work! Abductive (reasoning) 21:08, 19 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for suggestions. I will try to keep them in mind when writing and editing articles in the future. Bondarev.gal (talk) 12:02, 20 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
