Race and intelligence

edit

Hi BonaparteIII, I see that you're new here, and that you've stumbled onto one of the most contentious topic areas on Wikipedia, that of race and intelligence. As a brand-new user, you can't be expected to be aware of all the previous work that has gone into creating the current consensus that racial hereditarianism is WP:FRINGE (as we define it here), but it appears that you may have missed my comment at the Eyferth study RfC linking to the general consensus on the matter. So here it is: Talk:Race and intelligence/Archive_103#RfC on racial hereditarianism. As a matter of policy, the RfC at Eyferth study cannot overturn that general consensus per WP:LOCALCON. You may wish to reconsider your !vote in light of this information, though you are of course free to disregard my advice. Cheers, Generalrelative (talk) 00:21, 13 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for the note. I made an edit to my comment mentioning this. It doesn't change my personal opinion, but certainly seems relevant from a policy perspective. BonaparteIII (talk) 15:45, 13 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
