Thank you for your welcome. I have to say that 90% of what is offered as help I cannot understand. I did not grow up with computers, and I have reached the limit of my ability to cope - and my aged brain cannot remember things either. The various pages you direct me to for help might as well be Klingon. As a long time archery historian/writer I would love to contribute - especially by editing some of the weird statements.
Many years ago I tried to create a page, but ran foul of the need to cite sources. It seems that saying "I was there and I know what happened and who said what" or " I was their Secretary for 25 years and kept all their minutes" are not acceptable as sources.
I am also busily working on three books, with others waiting. I suppose citing my own book would not be allowed either :-( Bogacwen (talk) 18:28, 30 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
Ok, well citing reliable sources is very important. We can't just take everyone's word that they speak with expertise because of the adage On the Internet, nobody knows you're a dog. If you still want to contribute perhaps the easiest thing to do is post suggestions to the article talk page and let others work out how Wikipedia's rules would apply to your suggestions.
