Citations edit

Alansohn, a number of your edits seem to cite sources incorrectly: in your citations, you also include quotes from the articles you cite as a reference. This is not correct according to the Wikipedia style guide.

Examples of your incorrect citations include:

Milltown, New Jersey, Middlesex, New Jersey, and so on. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Boboop (talkcontribs) 17:09, 9 April 2007 (UTC).Reply

  • I'm impressed that your first contribution to Wikipedia is to criticize my use of citations. In particular, you seem to take offense at the fact that I "include quotes from the articles [I] cite as a reference." While you insist that "This is not correct according to the Wikipedia style guide.", there is absolutely nothing in the Wikipedia style guide that precludes its use. I strongly suggest learning how Wikipedia works and getting a few more edits under your belt. Alansohn 00:37, 11 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
