Algal oil edit

The article credits Isaac Berzin as having invented algal oils for biofuels. I am fairly sure this is inaccurate. The idea of using oil from Algae for fuel has been around at least since the 1970's US Government "Aquatic Species Program", if not before. Please fix.

Thanks for the comment. A couple of Some responses:
  • The article doesn't really say that he invented it. It says that he recently developed it, which I think is accurate.
  • That said, your comments are fair. How about contributing some text yourself to make it more accurate? That's what this "anybody can edit" business is all about, after all!
  • Oh, one more small thing - when you add comments, please put ~~~~ to sign them, so we can who said what without digging through the history.
Thanks again, and I hope we see more of you around here! Waitak 00:46, 6 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Bobkeyes 21:20, 6 November 2006 (UTC) Thanks for the hints. Yes I am new, still learning the ropes. I hope I don't screw up too much!Reply

Wikipedia methods edit

When people make changes to correct something they often put a comment in the history and don't bother with a discussion. So you should always look at the history to see why somebody made a change. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Vincecate (talkcontribs) 13:39, 28 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/SCG industries. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. - Dank (push to talk) 14:14, 15 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Your ownership issues with Botryococcus braunii - warning edit

I have raised your ownership issues with the Botryococcus braunii article here. Please feel free to comment.

Consider this a warning that you should not personally attack other editors and that you have no right to tell other editors to leave wikipedia for enforcing policies which you disagree with. You do not own the article. IP editors are allowed to edit the article. Price lists are not part of wikipedia. --Kleopatra (talk) 04:46, 20 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Regarding reversions edit

If an editor makes a good faith change to an article and explains the change in the summary with links to wikipedia policies and guidelines supporting the change, please do not revert the change without attempting to engage the other editor on the issue. Please discuss! Thanks, ErikHaugen (talk | contribs) 18:04, 20 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
