Thank you very much. I am very happy to have you here as my assistant and keep in touch with you when I get trouble and need help. Regards, --Bltrgs Talk 23:10, 12 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

And thanks to you, Bltrgs, for starting the articles on various Ethiopian towns & uploading the logos for those colleges. At the moment we're short-handed in developing content related to Ethiopia, so I appreciate any help that we can get -- even if this doesn't always appear to be the case. -- llywrch (talk) 04:02, 14 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
You are very welcome, Llywrch and thanks to you as well for all your contributions to African (Ethiopian) related articles. Regards, Bltrgs Talk 05:43, 14 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

I also warmly welcome you to the project. Are you from Ethiopia? We need as many contributors to African articles as possible!!! You may want to join Wikipedia:WikiProject Ethiopia. I'm the guy who hads added many of the maps and infoboxes to ethiopian towns and am working on all Africa countries! Keep up the good work ♦Blofeld of SPECTRE♦ $1,000,000? 19:48, 15 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Nice to meet you Blofeld SPECTRE, and thanks a lot for your welcoming and for your immense contributions. I am Ethiopian, just became wiki user, and also i love to be the member of WikiProjectEthiopia . Best, --Bltrgs Talk 22:21, 15 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Great to have you on board. Feel free to ask if you need any help or have any questions. In particular, I'd imagine we are missing countless articles related to Ethiopia's history and culture, we need more people from countries like this to edit on here. Lets hope more gain access to the privelage of the Internet and can begin contributing things about their own countries on here. ♦Blofeld of SPECTRE♦ $1,000,000? 22:46, 15 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

you are right, lots of information regarding cultures and values of the people aren't documented and it's difficult to have online sources. Nevertheless, you guys have already done great jobs and I appreciate your efforts and time. --Bltrgs Talk 03:16, 16 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
Do you?, I know we are both wiki users and you gave me direction at the very beginning..., Best, --Bltrgs Talk 03:20, 16 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Logo of Bahir Dar University.jpg)

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Logo of Bahir Dar University.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:30, 18 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

No worries. I fixed the problem. Gülməmməd Talk 11:59, 18 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
Thank you user Gulmammad for the help, after i uploaded the image i noticed that it is too large to be fitted into the box and I couldn't get how to rescale it.--Bltrgs Talk 12:58, 18 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
You are welcome. It is good to upload images with high resolution. Gülməmməd Talk 15:03, 18 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Autoblock of 74.71.99.220 lifted or expired.

Request handled by:  Sandstein  14:12, 20 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thank you Sandstein for your immediate response, and still i am having my user name auto-blocked from editing articles.--Bltrgs Talk 15:48, 20 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Clearing an autoblock

Due to the nature of the block applied we need additional information before we can decide whether to unblock you. It is very likely that you are not personally blocked. If you are prevented from editing, it may be because you are autoblocked or blocked because of your IP address. Without further details there is nothing further we can do to review or lift your block. Please follow these instructions:

  1. If you have a Wikipedia account, please ensure that you are logged in.
Your account name will be visible in the top right of this page if you are.
If it isn't, try bypassing your web browser's cache.
  2. Try to edit the Sandbox.
  3. If you are still blocked, copy the {{unblock-ip|...}} code generated for you under the "IP blocked?" section. This is usually hidden within the "What do I do now?" section. If so, just click the "[show]" link to the right hand side to show this text.
  4. Paste the code at the bottom of your user talk page and click save.

If you are not blocked from editing the sandbox then the autoblock on your IP address has already expired and you can resume editing.  Sandstein  07:30, 22 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Oromo language

edit

I changed the infobox in Oromo language because it is identified as ISO 639 macrolanguage, and those articles are presenting their individual languages using that infobox. Please see Syriac language or some other articles listed in ISO 639 macrolanguage.-- Hello World! 17:26, 24 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for clarification, nothing wrong in adding contents to the infobox and it's fine. I just thought the number of red links in the infobox and hope some one will start articles about them. Cheers--Bltrgs Talk 08:52, 25 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
