Proposed deletion of Keisha Chu

The article Keisha Chu has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article. The nominator also raised the following concern:

All biographies of living people created after March 18, 2010, must have references.

The article Keisha Chu has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article, which appeared to be about a real person, individual animal, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the notability of the subject may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Re your message: The article was deleted because you did not establish why she is notable enough for inclusion on Wikipedia. Being a blogger or a member of a wikifashion does not infer notability. Nor does having a lot of fans or followers on Twitter. What establishes notability is if she has been the subject of multiple published secondary sources which are reliable, intellectually independent of each other, and independent of the subject.

As for why Nathalie Kelley has an article while Keisha Chu does not, it is because Nathalie Kelley has meet the notability guideline for an actress by significant roles in multiple notable films and television shows. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 20:56, 11 June 2012 (UTC)
