Large reptile considering request

But user know original 'Zilla have pockets large enough for him. What you think? Me need pocket for a bit? — ChedZILLA 04:47, 1 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

Cosy pocket surely nice for little zilla. No need to stop editing Wikipedia, pocket has wifi. [Bishzilla stuffs user in pocket without waiting for actual request. Autocratic like that.] bishzilla ROARR!! 15:13, 1 November 2013 (UTC).Reply

Hairy beast from the woods needs break from silly humans

Everyday I dodge humans chasing after me with cameras and video equipment...some have bags of plaster to pour in spots where I leave footprints...very tiring. Request pocketing and I have prepared myself in case I forgets what Craps Table is suppose to be used for....me easily confused...often!--MONGO 15:52, 10 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

That's a mental image I didn't need, quite honestly. Newyorkbrad (talk) 16:59, 10 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
Whadaya mean...see...MONGO get no mercy from human encroachment...need Bishzilla pockets to hide in for rest.--MONGO 17:10, 10 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
Just remember that the pocket gives you room to rest, but that doesn't make it a rest room. Newyorkbrad (talk) 17:48, 10 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
Grrr...well, word is yer an important human around these parts so MONGO promise to behave and avoid mishaps....but still gonna wear protective outerwear to be safe cause I'm just a hairy woodland beast afterall.--MONGO 18:51, 10 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
[Bishzilla stuffs the little Bigfoot straight into Poets' Corner, as far as possible from the craps table.] Sit down and decompress, little Mongo! Sing along with Bishzilla! (Noble soprano solo just added. Season special!) [Bishzilla secretly a little worried some user bring bags of plaster to pour into depression made in sofa by Bigfoot. Perhaps better never get up!] bishzilla ROARR!! 22:43, 10 December 2013 (UTC).Reply
Ah......MONGO feel much better now due to rest provided in sanctuary of Bishzilla pocket. Stayed away from leafy greens before pocketing I promise ye. Soothing poetic melodies abound...MONGO can hum but trouble carrying tune, able to enjoy nonetheless. But MONGO noticed that picture of accommodation show humans in mirror with cameras!!!! Should I be worried they might return, upset stomach...cause consternations? Little users welcome to join...MONGO always lonely.--MONGO 00:32, 11 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

If MONGO (me) get thrown outta fancy lodging I'll settle fer icecave...just so you know...MONGO not picky...used to sleeping on ground, in mud, in cave with bat guano or running from humans with cameras and not getting any sleep...--MONGO 18:50, 25 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

Just dropping by

Thanks for the invitation. [Eyes "Jimbo was here" graffiti on the wall.] Nice place you've got here.

I have heard that the secret admin lounge (TINC) has brandy snifters and cigars, so I have brought a small libation. A cognac snifter for me, and a small distillery for you. Cheers. —Neotarf (talk) 11:51, 13 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

An apparatus for distilling brandy, complete with flask. (So how flammable is this thing?)
No worries, long long time since little Jimbo jump cutely into pocket. (Happened on IRC.) Already de-pocketed way back.[1] A few runes scratched by him may remain in more Pompeii-like parts of pocket. Little Neotarf better off in recently re-decorated Poets' Corner. Cosiness factor and Christmas ambiance now almost overwhelming! Distillery go well in there. (There is no secret admin lounge. Bishzilla great egalitarian.) Ignore little Bigfoot in sofa, is a little shy of humans. bishzilla ROARR!! 18:52, 13 December 2013 (UTC).Reply
Looking at a 2007 ANI archive is like walking across a cemetery. Bish, you have either a fantastic memory or an archive of your own with a fantastic retrieval system. Drmies (talk) 15:32, 14 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
And do the kids still do the guestbook thing? Drmies (talk) 15:34, 14 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
Bishonen memory like sieve! But 'Zilla retain bookmarks of own important actions such as de-pocketing Jimbo, blocking FT2, running for ArbCom, etc. Like to peruse in self-centred nostalgic mood. As cheeky Darwinbish put it, Bishzilla is ancient of days and practically Larry Sanger on wiki![2] Occasionally see kids on Jimbo page asking him to sign their guestbook… is surely sign of extreme newbiedom. bishzilla ROARR!! 15:17, 15 December 2013 (UTC).Reply
Of course there is no secret admin lounge. They even say so on Cabal Network. But of course such fictions do serve to indicate the level of ritual that might be expected in such a salon. In the meantime I am still pondering this. I don't even know where to start. The poetry corner does seem in order, thank you for the recommendation, and I look forward to perusing the offerings. I had thought to cite the Bard, but at present, the contemplation of "the proud man's Contumely, the Law’s delay, and The insolence of Office" are just too oppressive; instead I will cite Ringo: It's been a hard day's night. I won't stay long, but perhaps we could tune in to the election returns? I believe some official word is expected momentarily. Regards, —Neotarf (talk) 10:49, 15 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

  • There was nothing so very remarkable in that; nor did Alice think it so very much out of the ordinary to hear the Rabbit say to itself 'Oh dear! Oh dear! I shall be too late!' ...but when the Rabbit actually took a watch out its waistcoat pocket, and looked at it, and then hurried on, Alice startled to her feet.
  • So many out-of-the-way things had happened lately, that Alice had begun to think that very few things indeed were really impossible.
There seemed to be no use in waiting by the little door, so she went back to the table, half hoping she might find another key on it, or at any rate a book of rules for shutting people up like telescopes: this time she found a little bottle on it, ('which certainly was not here before,' said Alice,) and round the neck of the bottle was a paper label, with the words 'DRINK ME' beautifully printed on it in large letters.
  • 'Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here ? '
'That depends a good deal on where you want to get to,' said bishzilla .
'I don't much care where —' said Alice.
'Then it doesn't matter which way you go,' said bishzilla

Some Afternoon Tea for us

  • 'But I don't want to go among mad people,' Alice remarked.
'Oh, you can't help that,' said the bishzilla : 'we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad.'
'How do you know I'm mad?' said Alice.
'You must be,' said bishzilla , 'or you wouldn't have come here.'
Alice didn't think that proved it at all; however, she went on 'And how do you know that you're mad?'
'To begin with,' said bishzilla , 'a dog's not mad. You grant that?'
    'I suppose so,' said Alice.
'Well, then,' bishzilla went on, 'you see, a dog growls when it's angry, and wags its tail when it's pleased. Now I growl when I'm pleased, and wag my tail when I'm angry. Therefore I'm mad.'

Thank you kind little user for poetry, especially flattering reference to Zilla as "world's fresh ornament" (blush, but feels it is deserved, for all that). Wanna see some Library porn?

Hi Bishzilla! I've seen some truly impressive & (if I may say so) desirable images of libraries. (I meant "library porn" as in gratuitious images of libraries, not as in libraries full of porn. If you prefer the latter, well, I'm not sure where I'd find monster porn. It may not be safe for even the over 18-crowd to view.) Would you be interested in updating your pocket images with a few? Would you prefer an email submission, or send you the URLs where these could be found? -- llywrch (talk)

Um, thanks for the invitation, but I really don't need "pocketing"; Wikipedia-wise, I need more time to sift over my research & improve articles. (I'm one of those rare Wikipedians who enjoy the research far more than the on-line quarreling. At the moment I'm working my way thru a monograph from the Smithsonian Institute, Retowski's Die Muenzen der Komnenen von Trapezunt. Between work, commuting & family, I just can't find the time to rewrite articles with the information I've found.) And I'm not sure I want to deal with Wikipedia's gang of humorless copyright-enforcers, so I'm reluctant to upload images from collections like this or that one. (These sources may not be fair use friendly.) Meanwhile, we average Joes & Joesephines can all imagine that these are the homes of the most respected & productive Wikipedians. Or Bishzilla's pocket, after the latest remodeling. -- llywrch (talk) 21:35, 5 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

POEM:

  • All day I think about it, then at night I say it. Where did I come from, and what am I supposed to be doing? I have no idea. My soul is from elsewhere, I'm sure of that, and I intend to end up there.
    • "Who says words with my mouth?"
  • Who looks out with my eyes? What is the soul?
    I cannot stop asking.

If I could taste one sip of an answer,
I could break out of this prison for drunks.
I didn't come here of my own accord, and I can't leave that way.
Whoever brought me here, will have to take me home.

    • "Who says words with my mouth?"
  • This poetry. I never know what I'm going to say.
    I don't plan it.
When I'm outside the saying of it,
I get very quiet and rarely speak at all.

From childhood's hour I have not been
As others were — I have not seen
As others saw — I could not bring
My passions from a common spring —
From the same source I have not taken
My sorrow — I could not awaken
My heart to joy at the same tone —
And all I lov'd — I lov'd alone —
Then — in my childhood — in the dawn
Of a most stormy life — was drawn
From ev'ry depth of good and ill
The mystery which binds me still —
From the torrent, or the fountain —
From the red cliff of the mountain —
From the sun that 'round me roll'd
In its autumn tint of gold —
From the lightning in the sky
As it pass'd me flying by —
From the thunder, and the storm —
And the cloud that took the form
(When the rest of Heaven was blue)
Of a daemon in my view —

Please pocket my oh-so-good twin

Yo B'zilla baby,

How bout putting my high-minded other half in your pocket. He's driving me bonkers, and I want to be free to be of his virtuousness so I can practice my evil in peace. Not for too long—neither of us can survive long in a separated state—but for as long as you can stand his scrupulous, noble presence. I don't think you'll regret it: he's kind and considerate, housebroken, plays nicely with others, and even smells good (in a hypoallergenic way, of course). If you won't let him in, I'll just have to try harder to bring him over to the dark side. Rivertorch's Evil Twin (talk) 13:57, 18 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Housebroken much appreciated! There have been some problems with the little Bigfoot, and some soot and smoldering from the little Smok. Don't know, but I just checked my news feed—you might want to consider confiscating personal electronic devices in here, btw—and it wasn't just a nightmare, it really happened. Apparently a great menace arrived on the scene while I was safely pocketed. Too bad you can't pocket the whole planet, or at least roar some sense into certain elements. Anyway, I think it's probably time I sent my evil twin packing for a while. For one thing, he seems to be trying to take over my job, and I won't have that, and also, his evil is no match for real evil; only good can combat the real thing. Eating that much cake likely cause firebreathing, yes, little River. Bishzilla condole sadly with little Americans. Also with self, as distressingly surrounded by alarmed little NATO countries. Yeah, my first inclination is to brumate—and if that's not a verb, it damn well should be. Umm . . . I'm flattered, 'zilla. Really. And you have the best pocket in the universe. But it has been over two and a half years and I think I'd like to go back now . . . and it turns out I always had the power.
What have I learned? If I ever go looking for my . . . uh . . . whatever it was I was looking for, I won't look any further than my own user space, because if it isn't there, I never really lost it to begin with.
Goodbye, Darwinfish. Oh, don't cry. No one will notice (because even though you're an evolved fish, you're still a fish and people expect you to look wet).
Goodbye, Bishzilla. I know it isn't right, but I still miss the way you used to roar at vandals when blocking them.
And Darwinbish, I think I'll miss you most of all. Maybe I could come back and raid Bishzilla's fridg—I mean come back and visit sometime. There is ample precedent, after all.

Ozymandias (P.B. Shelley) Hafspajen (talk) 19:22, 14 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

I met a traveller from an antique land
Who said: "Two vast and trunkless legs of stone
Stand in the desert. Near them on the sand,
Half sunk, a shattered visage lies, whose frown
And wrinkled lip and sneer of cold command
Tell that its sculptor well those passions read
Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things,
The hand that mocked them and the heart that fed.

And on the pedestal these words appear:

My name is Ozymandias, King of Kings:
Look on my works, ye mighty, and despair!'
Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare,
The lone and level sands stretch far away.

What, no year-round amenities?

Disturbing news, this. Surely, in the interest of instant gratification and first-world harmony, there must be a way to keep the winter sports branch open year round. Why, I'll bet that a mere two or three coal-fired power plants would easily power the necessary refrigeration equipment and snow guns. Sounds feasible to me! What's next—depriving the little pocketlings of their preferred fresh produce merely because it's out of season and has to be flown in from another hemisphere? Denying them Beluga caviar just because it happens to come from endangered fish? Let them eat cake, she says. Fine, fine, and maybe keeping the luge track frozen in July is overkill, but what if another one of them gets stuck in the catflap because of all those calories they couldn't burn off on the cross-country ski trail? Bet you didn't think of that! It's outrageous. If I weren't an authoritarian neo-fascist, I'd advocate open revolt. Rivertorch's Evil Twin (talk) 06:18, 28 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
