Osprey and Bengal tiger

edit

Hi Birdlover. You changed the conservation status of these two species to values not supported by the sources, so I have reverted you changes. Do you have newer information? Favonian (talk) 10:36, 26 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please provide a reliable source for the osprey and other changes. Favonian (talk) 10:44, 26 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

File names

edit

Please do not change image names (see this edit), because the images are only shown on the wiki by using their actual file names. I do not know where you got the alternative spelling from. Snowman (talk) 18:03, 30 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

This is the final warning you are receiving regarding your disruptive edits, such as those you made to Blue-capped Ifrita. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Snowman (talk) 18:24, 30 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

You seem to be inviting trouble by making changes to iucn status without providing the BirdLife International or IUCN Red List in-line reference to support it. Intended or not, this looks like vandalism, and invites trouble. I've blocked you myself for edit warring on this. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 05:21, 31 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
I fixed the external link to IUCN on the Blue-capped Ifrita page, so that you could see why I reverted your edit. The IUCN status is here. Your edits to the IUCN might be to be following a trend. You can check as many birds on IUCN by typing the name of the bird in the search box on that website. Many of the external links on the wiki to IUCN are broken since IUCN changed their website structure, and only a few have been fixed so far. The wiki will always needs additions that are verifiable, and one of the best ways to show that an addition is reliable is to provide a good reference. Snowman (talk) 11:37, 31 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please be more careful about randomly changing the IUCN status and version on articles. You've been warned about this before. Bigeye tuna still uses version 2.3[1], and so does Tuatara,[2] so both of those edits have been reverted. First Light (talk) 14:17, 4 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Southern bluefin tuna has been reverted for the same reason.[3] First Light (talk) 14:21, 4 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
