Coaster trout

Coasters are a large-bodied, potamodromous population of brook trout. They are not a subspecies. Generally speaking, populations and stocks of fish should really be treated on the main species page. Had you read the brook trout article before beginning the coaster trout article, you'd have noticed that coasters were already described there. This afternoon, I simply copied the paragraph from the brook trout article and pasted it over the contents of the coaster article. In any event, you've started a new page for coasters so, that's done. But, please, don't keep indicating them to be a subspecies of brook trout unless and until you can point me to a competent taxonomic authority that indicates differently. Siscowet

Again, siscowet are not a subspecies of lake trout, they are what is most properly called a phenotype. I took the liberty of adding a description of siscowet and the other Lake Superior phenotypes to the lake trout article and turned your siscowet page into a redirect.
