Anime Pulse

edit

This article was previously deleted by an articles for deletion discussion, which you may find here, and also made no assertion of notability and cited no reliable sources. Notability is not established by popularity, it is established by reliable source coverage. If such sources do now exist, I'd be happy to have a look at them and give my advice as to whether an article on the subject might now be accepted. Jeff Dunham

edit

I see you reverted my edit to the Jeff Dunham, and yes it does appear to be available at some kiosks. The reason I originally changed it was because after reading it was available, I looked at several stores (in person and online) only to find that they said it hadn't been released yet. I posed a question at the Entertainment Reference Desk about how common it is to find a DVD available for rental a few weeks before its official release date. Feel free to chime in if you want. Deletion question/comment

edit

While I am indeed of a general deletionist bent, I can't delete an article just because I happen to feel like it. :) If you feel a child article is redundant or unneeded, quite often the best thing to do is to simply make it into a redirect to the parent article. Redirects may also "anchor" to take one to a certain section within that article. That only requires a single edit, and any editor out there can make an article into a redirect, including you! If you do feel that the article would not make a useful redirect to a parent topic and should be deleted entirely, you can also nominate them for deletion (see the deletion policy for more guidance on the various ways to do that), but in almost all cases, non-notable fictional characters should simply be redirects to their parent fictional work. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Seraphimblade (talkcontribs) 00:55, 25 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Rogue Galaxy

edit

I found out that you recently deleted character and planet information on the aforementioned article. I strongly disagree with you. You said your reason was because "this belongs in a faq", this is not true. There are plenty of video game articles with characters listed, Dragon Quest VIII, Jet Set Radio Future, and Destroy All Humans 2 are examples. Are you going to delete those too? Now I'll be fair, I may agree with the deletion of the planets and minor characters, but why the main 8? They are important to the story and should stay. I am also curious at this point why you did not delete the voice actor section, because what is the point if people don't know who the characters are? I want to reach a compromise, so why not have just the main 8, Jaster, Steve, Simon, Kisala, Zegram, Lilika, Jupis, and Deego. In that order as that is the order they join. Then the voice actors are put next to their names. I feel this is fair and does not break any Wikipedia rules. BioYu-Gi! 20:24, 29 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Good point, BioYu. I might've jumped to conclusions there. Main characters are indeed good info to add and are often critical to the story and such to the article. Will you re-do my changes? Also, if I might suggest something: if a detailed description of the characters are necessary, it could be helpful to create a page for all the characters of Rogue Galaxy.
And when I'll get the time, I'll check out the other articles ;-) --Soetermans 21:45, 30 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

== peer review ==

edit

I was wondering if you could take some time out of your schedule to head over to the Heroes (TV series) talkpage and give us an honest peer review. The page has gone through some major changes in the last few months, and it would be fantastic if a prominent editor/contributor like yourself, could head over and give us at the Heroes Wikiproject some sound opinion and ideas on improvements for the page. We have all worked very hard at improving the page, and we need great outside, reliable and trustworthy users to come over and help us improve. I you are interested in joining the peer review discussion with other prominent users/contributors, much like yourself, please follow the link. Thank you very much for your help and your continued effort to improve Wikipedia and its quality! Baten Kaitos

edit

Thanks for the Toys R Us tracklist. I've been looking for it for a while (on and off). Did you own a copy, and copy it by hand, or did you get it of the Internet? If that is the case, I'd be interested in knowing where you found it.happypal (Talk | contribs) 18:51, 16 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

I own it. So I just pulled up my Itunes and copied the songs and times. No big deal. Hard to find a picture though, the only one I could find was really small and low quality, but it's basically the game box image with something like "Baten Kaitos Bonus CD" on it. BioYu-Gi!
