Binturong32 (talk) 02:46, 16 October 2021 (UTC)== Welcome! == Hello, Binturong32 , and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.Reply

I noticed that one of the first articles you edited appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

How to cite sources edit

Hi. You said, "The references do not open for me to anything. Is there a problem with the way they were put in this article? I want to check them before making a judgement" to this deletion discussion. You can see WP:CS guideline. How to cite sources is written in detail here. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Tasmania Zoo, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Canary and Golden Pheasant. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Getting an editor to keep a wide berth from myself edit

"Your articles"? You might want to have a read of Wikipedia:Ownership of content. Nothing here is yours, or mine! Calistemon (talk) 12:52, 4 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Binturong32 (talk) 12:56, 4 November 2021 (UTC) Ok I didn't mean 'my articles' in that context it was bad wording, but I feel followed around on here by 1 certain other member and its starting to feel a bit like being shadowed (p.s cool Bobtail photo)Reply

Have you spoken to them? You can either engage them on their talk page or ping them to yours by using, for example, the template @Calistemon:. Let them know if your unhappy about what they are doing and discuss it with them. No guarantee of success, but a good first step! Calistemon (talk) 13:08, 4 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Binturong32 (talk) 13:17, 4 November 2021 (UTC)Thankyou for your advice, I'll try, sorry again, am a bit embarrassed as had a frustration moment but wish had handled it with more level mindednessReply

Re [2] - According to AWB, you have edit 863 pages. Of those, I have edited 19. That's hardly "stalking". Excluding talk pages, almost all of those 19 pages are Western Australian articles. I'm a Western Australian editor and I frequently edit and consequently watch many WA articles, so it's not surprising that I edit a few (19 out of 863) pages that you have recently edited. If you disagree with any of my edits, feel free to let me know specifically which edit (with a diff) and why, and I'll happily discuss that edit. Mitch Ames (talk) 13:19, 4 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Animals at Ranger Red's Zoo & Conservation Park edit

Not as criticism, just at a suggestion, the current list of animals at Ranger Red's Zoo & Conservation Park is really hard to read and filter information out of. I think, a bulleted list, like in Perth Zoo, broken down into (maybe) reptiles, birds and mammals, would be far more readable and therefore more beneficial to the article. There is a couple of pictures on Commons that you could add to the list as well, some of them taken by me on my last visit there. Calistemon (talk) 07:07, 6 November 2021 (UTC) Binturong32 (talk) 07:22, 6 November 2021 (UTC) @Calistemon Yeah thats a really good point, will borrow the Perth Zoo format and break up for birds, mammals, reptiles etc, thanks for the suggestion by the wayReply

Looks so much better now! Calistemon (talk) 08:05, 6 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Signature location edit

I notice that you usually put your signature at the beginning of your post (example). However this can cause some confusion because virtually everyone else puts the signature at the end of a post, as per WP:SIGHOW. For the sake of readability and to reduce confusion, could you please put your signature at the end of your posts in future. Thanks, Mitch Ames (talk) 07:50, 6 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

@Mitch Ames: Yeah absolutely, sorry didn't realise the order it was meant to go, thanksBinturong32 (talk) 08:16, 6 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

@Mitch Ames: Thanks heaps again for letting me know about the signature order and sorry again about before Binturong32 (talk) 11:10, 6 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

@Calistemon:i.e Ranger Red's Zoo: Thankyou, do you think the format before the descending list was better perhaps; the reason I made the species list a hidden access was because of the length when in single file which I decided to do because the second edit had some of the 'dot' points in an 'untidy' order from my point of view when published; but if you guys think the second edit is better presented than the third/current one am really happy to revert it and 'tidy' it up maybe Binturong32 (talk) 11:11, 6 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Wellington Zoo edit

Hi Binturong32! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Wellington Zoo that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. P.S.
