BigTinCan edit

A tag has been placed on BigTinCan, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of BigTinCan and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Bhockey10 (talk) 21:35, 1 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! I noticed that you recently added a {{hangon}} template to an article, BigTinCan. In order for an administrator to evaluate whether the article should be speedy deleted or not, we request that you provide reasoning, on the article's talk page, for why it should remain. Thank you. Hey. I noticed that you placed the {{hangon}} tag to the article you created. When you add a hangon tag, you need to state why you believe, accordingly to the policies of Wikipedia, why this article should not be deleted, in the talk page of that article. While I don't fully agree with the reason given for marking the article for speedy deletion, the subject of the article doesn't meet wikipedia's notability policy and therefore doesn't YET deserve an encyclopedic entry. If you have any question on why this is, please don't hesitate to ask. I'll be watching this page for any questions you might have.OlYellerTalktome 22:31, 1 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Your account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia, because it has been identified as an account used for promotion of a company or group, with a username that implies that this has been done by that company or group. See Wikipedia:FAQ/Organization and Wikipedia:Conflict of interest.

This kind of activity is considered spamming and forbidden by policies, and also violates our username policy.

However, if you feel that there has been a mistake in your blocking, please appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} on your user talk page or email the administrator who blocked you. Your reason should include your response to this issue and a new username you wish to adopt that does not violate our username policy (specifically, understand that accounts are for individuals, not companies or groups, and that your username should reflect this). Please check that your new username has not already been taken by checking this list. StarM 23:44, 1 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
