Oh, no no no, this is a shared ip adress, a few people or more use it, no way it can be blocked this long. Someone fix this please and just block the sock puppet themself so it doesn't affect the sharers. It took me long enough to be able to make account without the ip adress being blocked and now it is seemingly worthless that I did so just be senseful and block users indiviually instead of ip adresses, it makes more sense. - Hopefully your watching this page so you can see my response and I won't need ot put another request. A roommate already mentioned there's a few heads here that share the ip. So it is hard for us to create accounts since it is always blocked, so most accounts are created at the same time once one realizes that the ip is opened. Like I said..don't block the ip because it is shared. You can't tell the good accounts from the socks, so simiply just block the sock puppet account, that way it does not affect anyone else, how hard is it to take 3 seconds to block an account? now you'll have a lot of people requesting unblocking because of the ip being blocked falsy, I even read somewhere that ip adress are not suppose to be blocked due to the sharing of them and this is a perfect explain of why, it affects the worng people, so simply unlock the ip forever so no one is affect and if a user does something bad just block them. - They are obsessed with that band and always try to update the page and edit it non-stop, I don't think they are trying to be disputive, they just try to make everything how they see is perfect. But to the point I made, it does not make sense to ban an ip (especially when wiki says it should never be done), it takes less then a minute to block a user and instead someone is taking the lazy way out and blocking a group of users for no reason.
