Chahat Tewani moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Chahat Tewani, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. pseudonym Jake Brockman talk 07:47, 11 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Your contributed article, Shruti Sharma(actress)

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Shruti Sharma(actress). First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Shruti Sharma. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Shruti Sharma. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Wgolf (talk) 02:24, 12 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Draft:Jaat Na Poocho Prem Ki

edit

Please stop asking for Draft:Jaat Na Poocho Prem Ki to be reviewed. It requires far more information before being eligible to be moved to mainspace. Please look at other articles and MOS:TV to see what is expected in an article. The fact that the series has not even aired also reduces the chances of it being moved. Asking for the article to be reviewed at this time is just wasting the time of reviewers. --AussieLegend () 14:19, 12 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Yesha Rughani.jpg

edit

A tag has been placed on File:Yesha Rughani.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a non-free file with a clearly invalid licensing tag; or it otherwise fails some part of the non-free content criteria. If you can find a valid tag that expresses why the file can be used under the fair use guidelines, please replace the current tag with that tag. If no such tag exists, please add the {{Non-free fair use}} tag, along with a brief explanation of why this constitutes fair use of the file. If the file has been deleted, you can re-upload it, but please ensure you place the correct tag on it.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". Ravensfire (talk) 01:41, 15 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Generally, you cannot use fair-use for an image of someone that's alive. Since they are alive, a replacement image could be found by someone taking a picture of them and uploading it, which fails criteria 1 of the fair use policy "no free equivalent is available ... or could be created", emphasis on the last part. inappropriate moves

edit

Please do not move articles unless absolutely necessary. Your unexplained move of RadhaKrishn (TV series) to RadhaKrishn (2018 TV series) has been reverted because there was no need to move it in the first place. We only disambiguate when necessary and it was not necessary. --AussieLegend () 14:00, 15 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

You've done the same thing at . PLEASE read WP:Naming conventions (television). If you keep moving pages incorrectly like this combined with the concerns about notability, it's starting to raise doubts of your ability to effectively contribute to Wikipedia. Please don't do any moves for a while, use the WP:RM and request moves on the talk pages and get agreement before the page is moved. Ravensfire (talk) 14:28, 15 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Mallika Singh

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Mallika Singh requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". Mallika Singh

edit

When you go to a page and see that the article as been deleted as part of a deletion discussion (see WP:Articles for deletion/Mallika Singh), do NOT try to recreate it, especially when it obviously fails notability criteria. Don't do that again, it's starting to look like you're being paid to edit, which is allowed, but you need to read WP:PAID if you are and make some disclosures. Nearly every article you've created has been moved to draft space or deleted, you really need to read and get a better understanding of WP:NACTOR for actors/actresses and WP:GNG for general notability as your current understanding is lacking. If you keep doing this, the next step is to request a ban on you creating articles except in draft space and then waiting until someone else accepts and moves them. Given your contributions, you're pretty obviously Drama panchi editing under a different name after that account was blocked. As you already know, that's called sockpuppetry and is not allowed. Ravensfire (talk) 14:31, 15 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Yunshui  07:46, 16 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. Non-free rationale for File:Jaat na Poocho Prem Ki.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Jaat na Poocho Prem Ki.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. AussieLegend () 02:41, 16 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free image File:Etretr.webp

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Etretr.webp. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. – Finnusertop (talkcontribs) 00:49, 17 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
