Citing References

edit

There are no references available for the man (Archie L. League) anywhere to be found on the internet. He was such an early radio pioneer in his field that there is literally no information on him. There are lots of references to his son Archie W. League (first aircraft controller) than there is about this man.

Would it be possible to publish a large picture of the single-page feature article from 1937? This article is really the only surviving article done on him. and had to be obtained as a scan from the Memphis Library microfilm department.

Thanks for all your input.

What would be the general consensus regarding inclusion of some of the material in an article such as this one?

Since this is a first hand account of life in the Klondike during one of the most exciting (and challenging) times of that era. Some interesting information on "Soapy" Smith is in there too. I don't know if you got a chance to read the whole newspaper article.

Deletion

edit

Would if be possible to reinstate the page I was working on. I can't seem to find it in the deletion log nor a reason for the deletion. If you check the user talk page people in the community were generally helpful and somewhat encouraging that I could change the format to a less "breezy" writing style. I have since found more reliable sources and would like to add those as well. The code was G8 which indicates a link to a non-existant page and was done by RHayworth. I'm not sure what the problem was since G8 is a rather broad catagory and no other explanation was given by RHayworth.

Thanks in advance,
