zamir

edit

Hi. I just reverted your edits to Zamir. Although I do not doubt that "Zamir" might have the meanings you give in slavonic (not just south slavonic) and Albanian as you say, since none of the uses of the name Zamir amongst wikipedia subjects seems to be of Balkan origin, there seems to be little reason to suppose that those meanings are the source of the name. If you had a published source that would certainly change the situation, or a clear example might also convince me. SamuelTheGhost (talk) 00:16, 31 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

•Sure Samuel. I will find some sources, forward it to you first so you can asses the sources and see if they're ok and then if it is still ok with you put them on the page. Just to be clear, I am not saying that Zamir is a name of Balkan origin. Instead, all I am saying is that coicidentally, an identical name (certainly with different origin) is found among South slavs (and maybe even other Slavonic culteres)and among Albanians, so I though this particular wikipedia page would be the most appropriate page to place it in.
