Contested deletion edit

This page should not be speedily deleted because... (I made an unintentional mistake. I am merely trying to create a Wikipedia page so I am in compliance with my alma mater El Modena High School. I am a Notable Alumni. Please work with me so I can properly create the page without being in violation. Kind Regards, Bernie Fratto <eMail redacted> — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bernie Fratto (talkcontribs) 13 November 2019 03:19 (UTC)

Please do not create an autobiography; follow the links above for more information. Wikipedia reports on what has been written about a subject in independent reliable sources and has little, if any, interest in what a subject has to say about themselves. If the subject is truly notable in the Wikipedia sense (see that page for more information) an editor without a connection will write an article in due course supported by referencing to reliable sources. (See link above and WP:REFB for how to add sources). Wikipedia does not exist as a site where individuals can create a 'profile' about themselves in the manner of Facebook or other social media. In the event that you do wish to create an article about a notable subject at some future date, please see the links to writing your first article as above and use the article wizard to create a draft.
PLease clarify what you mean by 'in compliance with my alma mater'. (Please remember to sign your posts on talk pages by typing four keyboard tildes like this: ~~~~. Or, you can use the [ reply ] button, which automatically signs posts.) Thank you. Eagleash (talk) 04:12, 13 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
